Ministry of Food Processing Industries invites proposals / Expression of Interest (Eol) from potential promoters / investors belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) only for setting up of Agro Processing Clusters in the country.
The willing promoters / investors may submit their proposals through online portal (http://sampada-mofpi.gov.in/AgroCluster/Login.aspx) only as per the revised operational guidelines for the Scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro Processing Clusters issued on 04.12.2020. The detailed operational guidelines of the scheme are available on Ministry's website: www.mofpi.nic.in (Schemes->Agro Processing Clusters->Download Guidelines).
The proposals / Eols shall be submitted online only on or before 31.01.2021 by 11:30 PM. No physical mode for submission of proposal shall be accepted. The proposals received against this Eol will be approved subject to availability of funds. Mere submission of application with required documents against the Eol does not confer any right on the applicant for claim of grant-in-aid under the scheme. The promoter(s) / investor(s) are advised to apply & submit applications well in advance before closure of online portal and not to wait till the last date/time for submission. MoFPI shall not be responsible if applicants are not able to submit their applications due to last minute rush.
The applicants are required to make payment of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) through Demand Draft (DD) towards Earnest Money Deposit (EMD / Bid Security) in favour of "The Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries" payable at New Delhi, The original Demand Drafts (DD) should be submitted to the Ministry within 7 days of submission of proposal failing which the proposal will not be considered.
After selection of the suitable applicants, the amount of EMD will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders. The EMD of the successful bidders shall be retained by the Ministry as Performance Security till the completion of the project. The amount of EMD retained as performance security shall be forfeited in the event of non-completion of the project or withdrawing from the project after according approval.
