Trade Notice No. 42/2019-20 & 43/2019-20 Dated. 19th December, 2019
Notification by DGFT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry have allowed Millers and Refiners to import Urad up to annual quota of 4Lakh MT, The Official notification comes into effect from 18th December,2019 .In the earlier Trade notification the Importers were allowed to import 1.5 Lakh MT of Urad .Additional quantity of 2.5 lakh MT of Urad has been allocated for Import during the fiscal year 2019-20.
Millers/Refiners who have their own Refining and Processing capacity of Pulses are allowed to apply through online to import with the required documents along with Fees may be sent by mail to policy2-dgft@nic.in
Millers/Refining Units can import additional quantity of 2.5 lakh MT of Urad in the year 2019-20 and ensure that the consignments of Urad reaches the Indian Ports on or before 31.03.2020
