Objectives of the Scheme
- To develop marketing infrastructure to effectively handle and manage marketable surpluses of agricultural and allied produce including horticulture livestock, poultry, fishery, bamboo, minor forest produce and such like produce supportive to enhance farmers’ income.
- To develop alternative & competitive marketing channels for agricultural and allied produce through incentivizing private and cooperative sectors to make investments there for.
- Linkage to Market Reforms
- To provide infrastructure facilities for grading, standardization and quality certification and allied produce with the objectives of
- ensuring produce quality based value realization to farmers ; and
- promoting pledge financing , e-NWRS and futures trading
- To get good prices to Farmer.
Subsidy : Rate of Subsidy Based on Capital Cost of Project
Rate of Subsidy & Subsidy Ceiling :
– North East, Hilly areas, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep : 33% of Capital Cost, Max cap of 30 Lakhs (For Pulse Splitting and oil Crushing Maxi of 16.66 lakhs only)
– SC / ST / FPO’s / Women Entrepreneur / Panchayats : 33% of Capital Cost, Max cap of 30 Lakhs (For Pulse Splitting and oil Crushing Maxi of 16.66 lakhs only)
– All other Categories of Beneficiaries (General and others) : 25% of Capital Cost, Max cap of 25 Lakhs (For Pulse Splitting and oil Crushing Maxi of 12.50 lakhs only)
